Issaquah dominated Bothell in Wednesday’s KingCo 4A volleyball match, beating the Cougars in three games — 25-12, 25-18, 25-17.
Rachel Roeder led the Eagles with 17 kills and 10 digs. Sarah Hanna and Sam Rogers had eight and five kills, respectively. Riley Sorenson paced Issaquah with 30 assists.
The Eagles moved to 2-0 in league and 4-0 overall with the victory.
Eastlake tripped up by Roosevelt
Eastlake suffered its first league defeat Wednesday night, falling to Roosevelt in four games — 25-14, 25-23, 15-25, 25-22.
The Roughriders had three players with double-digit kills, led by Frances Woods’ 14.
Eastlake’s Sarah Pelicano led the Wolves with seven kills. Anna Gorman, Zoe Escarda and Jacquie Burkhardt had five apiece. Eastlake’s Kelly Logie had a match-high 19 assists.
The Wolves fell to 1-1 in league and 2-3 overall with the loss.

Issaquah falls to Bothell in playoff
Bothell won the first playoff hole Wednesday afternoon at Wayne Golf Course to break a 193-stroke tie and defeat Issaquah.
The Eagles’ Alex Ciszewski and Matthew Gann finished in a four-way tie for first, with Bothell’s Daniel Lee and Caleb An. All four golfers shot 3-over par, 37s. Bothell’s Gavin Stener was fifth with a 38.
