Issaquah’s Thomas named Player of the Year, again | Prep sports news

Issaquah, Skyline, Eastlake and Eastside Catholic were well represented on their respective all-conference teams in girls soccer.

Issaquah’s Audrey Thomas earned 4A KingCo girls soccer Player of the Year honors for the second consecutive season to lead a large group from Issaquah and Sammamish. Thomas helped her squad to the 4A state championship game, a 1-0 loss to Skyline, and led the Eagles in goals and total points in 2012. She was joined by a pair of teammates and two from Skyline on the first team.
