Eastside Catholic junior Matt Iwicki picked up another invitational championship on the wrestling mat, winning the title at 138 pounds at the Lynden Annual Invitational.

Iwicki, a state title winner last season, beat Oak Harbor’s Jahleel Vester 5-2 in the finals to give the Crusaders their only championship in Lynden.

Connor Heger wrestled at 220 pounds for EC and made the final match before losing by pin to Manual Vasquez of Lynwood.
