The Beavers got a complete game five hitter from pitcher Caleb Jaeger and used a four run second inning to top Issaquah.

Skyline 2 Inglemoor 4

Willie Augustavo and Josh Seefeld had doubles and Danny Larsen went six innings and allowed only two runs as the Vikings topped Skyline. Madd Lunde allowed four runs and struck out eight in six innings on the mound for the Spartans.

Issaquah youth takes second at nationals

Isabella Gomez, a 10-year-old Issaquah resident and snowboarder with Snoqualmie Team placed 2nd at the United States of America Snowboard Association 23rd Annual Nationals Tournament for Menehune Girls in the 10-11 age group.

Gomez was second in the slalom and giant slalom, fifth in slope style, seventh in half pipe and ninth in boardercross. She placed first overall in 2011.

Bodybuilding championships coming to Eastside

The Emerald Cup Bodybuilding Championships will be at Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Center on Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21 for the 30th Anniversary of the competition.

Over 500 men and women will compete across 40 divisions in an event that is part of the National Physique Committee tour and is the only one on tour in the Greater Seattle area.

Judging starts at noon on Fri. and 10 a.m. on Sat. with finals beginning at 7 p.m. both evenings. Categories include physique, bodybuilding, fitness, bikini and more in various age ranges for both men and women.
