Issaquah senior Rachel Roeder slammed down 25 kills and added three aces Wednesday as the Eagles defeated Garfield in four games — 25-11, 25-14, 23-25, 25-15.

Sarah Hanna added 13 kills and 10 digs, while Riley Sorenson had 31 assists.

Issaquah improved to 3-0 in league and 6-0 overall.

Skyline tripped up by Roosevelt

Skyline started off hot Wednesday night, but couldn’t maintain, falling in four games to Roosevelt — 12-25, 25-15, 26-24, 26-24.

Maddie Magee paced the Spartans with 13 kills and 14 digs. Teammate Alyssa Workman dished out a match-high 35 assists.

Skyline fell to 1-2 in league and 4-3 overall with the loss.
