Skyline Spartans junior Geneva Schlepp, right, experienced tears of joy after capturing first place in the girls 1600-meter run at the KingCo 4A meet on May 10, clocking a time of 4:56.07. Schlepp broke the Skyline school record which was set by Alexis Daugherty’s time of 5:00.75 in 2014.
