Browne (17 of 23, 283 yards) found wide receiver Trevor Barney (3 catches, 96 yards) twice for TDs, connecting on strikes of 41 and 55 yards.

Skyline had three consecutive scores on special teams plays, starting with Chase Premone’s 92-yard kickoff return for a TD. Matt Sinatro added a 55-yard punt return for a TD and Peyton Pelluer returned a botched punt 10 yards for a score.

Damien Greene and Jack Valencia added 1-yard TD runs for the Spartans.

Skyline improved to 3-0 in league and 4-2 overall with the victory. They host non-league Jackson (4-2) at 7 p.m, Friday.

Eastlake dominates Mariner

Eastlake made quick work of non-league Mariner Friday night, beating the Marauders 44-7 on their home field.

The Wolves, who led 30-0 at halftime, received three rushing TDs from quarterback Keegan Kemp and three from running back Ryan Lewis.

Kemp scored on runs of 1, 7 and 32 yards and Lewis scored on runs of 3, 13 and 31 yards.

Mariner, which was without star running back KeiVarae Russell, didn’t score until the fourth quarter.

Eastlake improved to 6-0 overall with the victory. The Wolves host KingCo Crest rival Issaquah (5-1) at 7 p.m., Friday.

Issaquah rolls Redmond

Issaquah earned its first league victory Friday night, beating Redmond 48-10 on the road.

The Eagles held a 20-10 halftime lead, before erupting for 28 unanswered points in the second half.

Quarterback Ethan Kalin completed 13 of 19 passes for 299 yards and four touchdowns. He threw three of those TDs to junior wide receiver Reed Peterson, who had six receptions for 174 yards. Peterson also returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown.

Sophomore running back Jack Gellatly added 10 carries for 73 yards and a touchdown.

Issaquah moved to 1-1 in league and 5-1 overall. The Eagles travel to undefeated Eastlake at 7 p.m., Friday.
