Skyline claimed three of the top 10 spots at last Thursday’s KingCo 4A cross country championships at Lincoln Park to win the overall team championship with 52 points.
Spartan senior Kyle Branch grabbed the overall title in a time of 15 minutes, 39 seconds. Sophomore teammate Keegan Symmes was second in 15:45, while junior Jay Bowlby was 10th in a time of 16:12.
Garfield finished second overall last week with 72 points.
Issaquah was seventh overall with 161 team points, while Eastlake was ninth with 200 points.
Issaquah senior Isaac Robinson placed seventh overall in a time of 16:05, while senior teammate Turner Wiley was ninth in 16:09.
Eastlake’s highest finisher was junior Michael Flindt, who placed 18th in 16:33.
The 4A Wes-King District championship takes place Oct. 30 at South Whidbey High School in Langley.
