Spartans crush Mustangs
The Skyline Spartans rebounded from 26-23 loss against the Woodinville Falcons in the fourth week of the season with a convincing 59-0 victory against the Redmond Mustangs on Oct. 3. Skyline (4-1) will host the Graham Kapowsin Eagles in a non-league game at 7 p.m. on Oct. 10 in Sammamish.
Eagles capture their second win
A stalwart defensive performance was on display as the Issaquah Eagles pitched a 21-0 shutout victory against the Olympia Bears on Oct. 3. Issaquah (2-3) will host the Newport Knights at 7 p.m. on Oct. 10 in Issaquah.
Wolves winning streak is snapped
Eastlake’s three-game winning streak came to a halt as the Newport Knights registered a 20-10 win against the Eastlake Wolves on Oct. 3. The Wolves (3-2) will host the Mount Si Wildcats at 7 p.m. on Oct. 10 in Sammamish.
Crusaders win their fourth straight contest
The Eastside Catholic Crusaders scored more than 40 points for the fourth consecutive week, cruising to a 42-7 win against the Seattle Prep Panthers on Oct. 3. The Crusaders (4-1) will look to win their fifth game in a row against the Bishop Blanchet Braves at noon on Oct. 11 in Seattle.
