Skyline left the 4A state tournament with a 1-2 record after being swept by Union in the opening round and then Auburn Riverside.

The Spartans took down Wenatchee 3-1 before being knocked from the tournament one victory shy of the eighth place match.

Girls soccer

Both Skyline and Issaquah are still in the hunt for the 4A state title after wins over the weekend, as the Spartans topped Puyallup 1-0 and the Eagles moved past Central Valley 2-0.

Both will be on hand for the semi-finals on November 16 as Skyline takes on Tahoma at 6 p.m. before Issaquah meets Camas to decide the matchup for the following day’s state title game.
