Skyline used an efficient offensive attack Friday to roll over Redmond, 56-17, in Sammamish.
The Spartans, who jumped out to a 49-3 halftime lead, got production from a large cast of players.
Junior quarterback Max Browne completed 15 of 19 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns in limited time. He hit Trevor Barney and Taggart Krueger for 4-yard scores. He also found Connor Gilchrist for a 16-yard TD.
Backup quarterback Nate Gibson was 7-for-7, passing for 83 yards, two TDs. He also rushed in a score from 11 yards.
Mason Gregory had four catches for 69 yards and a TD while Damien Greene had eight carries for 52 yards.
Skyline racked up 438 total yards of offense, earning 310 through the air.
The Spartans improved to 3-2 overall and are 2-0 in league. They travel to Newport (3-2) next week.
Eastside Catholic crushes Chief Seatlh
Eastside Catholic made quick work of Chief Sealth Friday night, earning a 46-0 victory.
Senior Chevy Walker led the Crusaders on the ground with six carries for 152 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned a kickoff 80 yards for a TD.
Quarterback Trey Reynolds was 5-for-9 passing for 111 yards and two TDs.
Luke Lattanzio added a 60-yard punt return for a TD.
The Crusaders improved to 3-2 overall. They host rival O’Dea (5-0) at 7 p.m., next Friday.
Issaquah bounces back against Kamiak
Issaquah recovered from a tough loss to rival Skyline Friday with dominating 42-7 victory over non-league Kamiak.
Quarterback Ethan Kalin threw three touchdown passes, connecting with Eric Lemke for a 17-yard score, Jake Bakamus for an 8-yard touchdown and Reed Peterson for a 15-yard TD. The senior quarterback also rushed for a 5-yard TD.
Peterson added an 85-yard kickoff return for a TD and Kyle Thomas ran in a score from 18 yards out.
The Eagles improved to 4-1 overall with the victory. They travel to face winless Redmond (0-5) next Friday.
