Skyline followed its regular season dual meet title with a 4A KingCo meet championship as the hosts on Saturday, finishing 20 points in front of second place Issaquah.
Nate Swanson pinned three opponents on the way to the 106 pound title for the Spartans with teammate Kody Nguyen in third. Justin Manipis outlasted Torre Eaton of Issaquah in the 113 pound final to give the Spartans their second championship of the day and Joseph Dematteo picked up a pair of pins before winning two decisions at 126.
Tristan Steciw followed a similar path at 132, defeating Woodinville’s Zack Gracia in the final. Joey Gurke won all four of his matches at 138 pounds to win the title.
Bo Longmore made it to the finals at 145 pounds before losing a decision to Inglemoor’s Gabe Seward.
Michael Mecham beat all four of his opponents by pin to take the title at 160 and Sean McAlhaney pinned three straight foes to take the 220 pound championship over Issaquah’s Matt Solusod.
Amrit Puri and Nate Jensen were fifth and sixth at 120 pounds for the Spartans and coach Gus Kiss, who was named conference coach of the year.
Issaquah’s Steven Solusod was fifth at 106 pounds while teammate Jordan Hamilton finished third at 120 with a victory over Roosevelt’s Marc Moshcatel in the third-place match. Louden Ivey was the runner-up at 126 after winning his first three matches of the day.
Colby Starren won five straight matches after an opening round defeat to finish third at 145 pounds for Issaquah. Jerden Helgeson was the runner-up at 152 pounds, winning three matches before losing a decision in the championship.
Dallas Starren was third at 182, Ahmed Ahmed finished fourth at 195 and Jonathan Norris pinned his first two foes before falling in the championship match at 285.
Mark Smith was fifth at 138 for Eastlake. Ryan Wasserman was the runner-up at 160 and Eli Maesner was fifth at 170.
Jonnie Estrada made the title match at 182 before being pinned and Eric Harper made the final at 195 before losing a decision.
