Skyline used the final event Saturday afternoon to earn a share of the 50-team Shoreline Invitational championship in North Seattle.
The 1,600 relay of Dustin Bratten, Alex Lee, Kasen Williams and Drew Matthews pushed to a second-place finish in the event, helping the Spartans tie North Central of Spokane with 51 overall points.
The relay team finished in 3 minutes, 21.47 seconds, narrowly behind Federal Way, 3:20.57.
Williams earned two titles for the Spartans winning the high jump with a leap of 6-feet-6 inches and the triple jump with a leap of 47 feet, 1/2 inch.
Lee placed second in the 100 (11.01 seconds) and fourth in the 200 (22.28). Matthews earned a fourth-place finish in the 400 (49.99) and Bratten was seventh in the 100 (11.16).
Eastlake finished ninth overall with 26.5 points.
W. Devin Bennett earned the highest placement of the day for the Wolves, taking third in the long jump with a leap of 21 feet, 2 1/2 inches. Jeff Sloat finished fourth in the 300 hurdles (39.31) and sixth in the 110 hurdles (15.13). Sean Ross was fourth in the pole vault (12-6) and Paul Kupcis was eighth in the 800 (1:57.45). The 400 relay of Daniel Jackstadt, Robert Moore, Ian Gelfer and Bennett placed sixth overall (43.88) and the 1,600 relay of Brandon Cole, Zachery Roberts, Kupcis and Curtis McCarson was fourth overall (3:24.35).
Issaquah finished the meet in 38th place with 5.5 points.
Jason Hollaway earned the largest chunk of points with a fourth-place in the pole vault (12-6).
