Maddie Magee led the Spartans with 16 kills, while Halle Erdahl had seven kills and 11 digs. Madison Stoa had 16 assists and Molly Mounsey had three kills and four blocks.

Skyline improved to 3-0 on the season.

Eastside Catholic erupts for big win

Eastside Catholic cruised to an easy victory Tuesday night, beating Chief Sealth 7-0.

Malia Bachesta recorded a hat trick for the Crusaders, scoring goals in the 12th, 22nd and 52 minutes. Maddie Racine recorded two goals for Eastside, scoring in the 44th and 69th minutes. She also had an assist on Bachesta’s first goal.

Kelly Crow and Elizabeth Escobar added goals for the Crusaders, who improved to 1-0 on the season.

GOLF

Issaquah outshoots Inglemoor

Issaquah defeated Inglemoor on its home course Tuesday afternoon, winning by 15 strokes 211-226 at Inglewood Golf Club.

Weston Mui paved the way for the Eagles, earning medalist honors with a 3 over par, 40.

Brian Jung and Austin Kinzer tied for second with 42s while Alex Cizewski was third with a 43. Noah Johnson tied two Inglemoor players for fifth with a 44.

Eastlake remains undefeated

Eastlake kept its record flawless Tuesday afternoon, beating Roosevelt 186-212 at Jackson Park Golf Course.

Will Sharp earned medalist honors, shooting a 1 over par, 36. Li Wang and Spencer Weiss tied for second, shooting 37s.

RP McCoy and Jack Strickland tied for fourth with 38s and Jack Fisher finished with a 40.

TENNIS

Newport blanks Issaquah

Newport won all of its matches Tuesday, beating Issaquah 7-0.

The Knights won all their matches in straight sets, despite solid efforts from the Eagles’ No. 1 singles player Evan Cheung, who lost 6-2, 6-3 to Chris Lilley. Richard Bennett also put up a solid fight at the No. 3 singles spot, falling 6-2, 6-3 to Jonathan Newman.

Varas provides Eastlake sole win

Eastlake’s No. 1 singles player Vicente Varas provided the Wolves their lone victory Tuesday afternoon, beating Woodinville’s Nate Billett 6-1, 6-3.

Woodinville swept the three other singles and three doubles matches in straight sets.
