Sammie Henson — a world champion, Olympic silver medalist and two-time NCAA champion — will headline Skyline’s commuter wrestling camp June 29 through July 3. The camp will run daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Skyline High School for boys and girls in grades 6-12. Skyline girls host youth basketball camp

Skyline girls basketball head coach Greg Bruns will hold a youth basketball camp from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 7-10 at Skyline High School for players entering third through ninth grades in the fall of 2010. Players will receive a camp T-shirt and will work on basketball offensive and defensive fundamentals, play games and compete in numerous fun contests for awards. Eastlake grad makes Major League debut

Blake Hawksworth, an Eastlake graduate and former BCC Bulldog, made his Major League debut with the St. Louis Cardinals Saturday night against the Colorado Rockies.

Hawksworth gave up four runs on three hits in two innings of relief, walking one and striking out one.
