Skyline is set to face a pair of Oregon schools, after taking care of Liberty 14-1 March 21 to pull its mark even on the year at 2-2 at the Reporter’s deadline.
The Spartans faced Lake Washington Wednesday, and take on Southridge at 4 p.m. Friday at Mercer Island High School and Jesuit the following afternoon at 2 p.m. at Islander Middle School.
Charlie Kurtenbach scored six goals and Jimmy Bucy and Michael Cowin each added two more in the win over the Patriots, while Rob Hild and Kyle Kuberski combined for seven saves in goal.
Issaquah, which beat Bothell 13-5 on Tuesday to move its record to 4-0-0 on the year, takes on Faith Lutheran Friday at 8 p.m. at Islander Middle School to open its tournament. The Eagles meet Centennial the following day at 4 p.m. before returning to in-state play Tuesday at Woodinville.
Eastlake plays Faith Lutheran Sunday at 12 p.m. at Mercer Island High School in its only game of the event. The Wolves meet Woodinville Friday at 8 p.m.
Eastside Catholic faced Seattle Academy Thursday looking to push its perfect mark to 5-0-0, and plays rival O’Dea Saturday. The Irish are in their first year as a program, and take on an EC team that has reached the state semifinals two straight years at 5 p.m.
