The Issaquah girls won 16 of 18 events Thursday afternoon, beating Ballard 123-26 in Seattle. The Eagles had four multiple event winners, led by Elaine Tran’s three victories. She won the 100 (13.6 seconds), 100 hurdles (16.10) and 300 hurdles (48.5). Stephanie Balkman won the shot put (26 feet, 5 inches) and the discus (95-0). Arielle Walton won the 1,600 (5 minutes, 24 seconds) and the 3,200 (12:37.10). Haley Jacobson won the long jump (15-6) and 200 (26.6). Other individual event winners included Kelley Chen (javelin), Riley Foreman (high jump), Eva Perry (pole vault), Kaley Allison (400) and Haida Ikeda (800).

The Issaquah boys won 11 events Thursday, beating Ballard 97-47. Ryan Tiernan won multiple events for the Eagles taking the 110 high hurdles (15.6) and 300 hurdles (40.8). Other individual winners included Dillon Reagan (shot put), Michael Baba (javelin), Conner Pearl (high jump), Kyle Hansen (long jump), Jason Hollaway (pole vault), Alex Pearl (400), Rory Montgomery (800) and Chris Brasino (1,600).

Eastlake athletes roll over Sammamish

The Eastlake girls defeated Sammamish 108-33 Thursday in a dual meet. The Wolves received 11 different individual wins from 11 different athletes. Winners included: Elizabeth Kirsten (shot put), Claire Salmon (javelin), Julia Bicknell (high jump), Natalie Lambert (long jump), Ann Heine (triple jump), Alyssa Bettinger (pole vault), Carlye Skinner (100 hurdles), Alexis Guches (100), Megan Batty (400), Sarah Talbot (800) and Katelyn Steen (1,600).

The Eastlake boys defeated Sammamish 109-27. The Wolves won 13 events, led by multiple wins from Devin Bennett and Marcus Harewood. Bennett claimed the long jump (18-10) and triple jump (41-2). Harewood won the 100 (11.0) and 200 (22.64). Other individual winners included Steve Wallinger (high jump), Jordan Brunner (pole vault), Erick Lo (110 hurdles), Jeff Sloat (300 hurdles), Brandon Cole (400), Paul Kupcis (800) and Frank Vitolo (1,600).
